Who we are
KILOMETERGAME is a free browser and Telegram Mini App game. Contact: Telegram bot @kilometerGameBot or the channel t.me/kilometergame.
What we store
Your nickname and the scores you submit (game, mode, accuracy, time, points, date). The country and optional city you CHOSE to play for (we never ask where you live; an IP-based country is only a pre-selected suggestion you can change). Salted one-way hashes of your IP address and of a random device id stored in your browser (used against cheating, rate limiting and bans; the raw IP is not stored). If you play inside Telegram: your Telegram user id, linked to purchases, tournament attempts and the gold badge. Telegram Stars purchases: product, amount, status, Telegram payment id. Daily tournament attempts and bonus credits.
What we do not store
No accounts, passwords or e-mail addresses (except the administrator account). No precise location.
Local storage on your device
Settings, your nickname, the random device id, your chosen country/city, a cache of the remote config and your ad-consent choice are stored in localStorage. They never leave your device except the hashed/declared values described above.
Advertising and cookies
Direct sponsor cards are served by us without cookies. Third-party ad networks (currently A-Ads) may set cookies or similar identifiers; in the EU/EEA, UK and Switzerland (and whenever we cannot tell the region) network ads load only after you accept in the consent banner. You can change your choice any time via "Ad settings" in the footer. We count ad impressions and clicks in aggregate.

Supabase (database and edge functions), Cloudflare or Vercel (hosting, Cloudflare Turnstile anti-bot), Telegram (Mini App, payments), ad networks listed above.
Legal bases (GDPR)
Legitimate interest: running leaderboards, preventing cheating and abuse. Contract: delivering purchased items. Consent: network advertising cookies.
Retention
Scores and leaderboard entries: while the game runs, unless you ask for deletion. Hashed IP/device data in rate-limit logs: up to 30 days. Purchase records: as long as required for accounting and refunds (typically up to 5 years). Backups are encrypted and rotated (up to 90 days).
Your rights and deletion
You can ask to access or delete your data. Send /privacy or /delete <your nickname> to @kilometerGameBot, or write to the channel t.me/kilometergame. We answer within 30 days. Because we have no accounts, we may ask you to prove the nickname/device is yours (e.g. by sending the request from the same Telegram account).
Children
The game is not directed at children under 13 (16 in some EU countries). Nicknames are filtered; please do not use your real name.
Changes
We will update this page and the date above when the policy changes.
